Our History and Mission
Originally established in 1979, the Belle Mead Animal Hospital (BMAH) began as a small, one doctor practice out of an old retired dairy barn. In 1992, construction began on the new 5,000 sq. ft. facility. The hospital was built to look like the Big Red Barn on the last piece of the original farmland from the Bogner family.
The hospital was also designed where the “heart” of our hospital was strategically in the center of the building. This allows BMAH to provide the most efficient, complete care and monitoring of all our patients. Over the past 10 years, there have been many significant advances in the veterinary world that we have incorporated into our practice. We provide quick, accurate and affordable medical services that rival our counterparts in the human medical field. We are proud to be a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Only 15 percent of all practices in the United States are AAHA accredited and independently evaluated and certified in over 900 standards of care.
What makes BMAH truly different beyond our facility and certification is our exceptional veterinary team. Our staff is like no other when it comes to skill, training, compassion and dedication centered upon a family atmosphere of wellness and education. Our practice continues to grow and evolve for the better while our mission remains the same.
Mission Statement: To make life better and healthier for pets and families through veterinary excellence and customer service that includes partnership with clients in providing the best care for their pets.
