Joseph Martins, D.V.M. (pictured above with Lola and Peanut) Joseph Martins graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He has 2 dogs - Lola and Peanut, and 3 cats - Spider, Tai, and Turbo. While not at BMAH, Dr. Martins enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snow boarding and reading. |
Lorraine Marks, D.V.M. Lorraine Marks graduated from the Colorado State, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She worked at Nantucket MSPCA/Angel Animal Hospital for 4 years. She did a lot of work with Feral Cats. Dr. Marks moved to NJ in 2001 and has been practicing small animal medicine with a special interest in exotics. She worked at the Basking Ridge Animal Hospital for 5 1/2 years before joining the Belle Mead Animal Hospital team. While not at the hospital, Dr. Marks enjoys spending time with her 6 dogs and 3 cats. She also enjoys road and mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling. |
Kim Somjen, D.V.M. Kim Somjen graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr. Somjen has an interest in exotic animals and animal rescue, and is involved in Doberman Rescue as well as her own rodent rescue, Kim's Ark (www.kimsarkrescue.org). At home, Dr. Somjen lives with her two Dobermans, Rah and Tyler, her 3 cats, Frankie, Watson, and BH as well as multiple caged pets. In her spare time, Dr. Somjen enjoys training and showing her dog in agility, obedience, and protection. |
Diane Gabriel-Fraynert, V.M.D. (pictured right) Diane Gabriel-Fraynert is a 2001 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania-she has been practicing and enjoying small animal medicine ever since. In Spring 2006, Dr. Gabriel completed a veterinary acupuncture course held by the world reknowned International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Currently, she practices acupuncture on dogs, cats and horses for a variety of ailments including, arthritis and degenerative joint disease, hip dysplasia, intervertebral disc disease, chronic renal failure, inflammatory bowel disease and others. Dr. Gabriel has 3 dogs, all rescues, Yogi, Brie, and Little Dog. She also has 5 cats - Zena, Frank, Pfinster, Monkey, and Buddy. |

Amy Villano, V.M.D. Amy Villano graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She has three dogs named Duchess, Daisy and Hazel. In her spare time Dr. Villano enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets as well as going to the beach, learning to ski, shopping and watching movies. |
